Hi all, new here, just came across this by accident. Had a bit of nostalgia for BOTF and jesus when I found that you guys have been making newer and better BOTF well to say I became excited would be an understatement.
Just wondering what the differences are between the two games you guys have made and where to download latest versions of the two games.
Man oh man so excited, they look brilliant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and some good karma in your direction.

in my mind both games are great projects - some differences are
- BotE is mostly done by a German team (with help of our friends here)
- because of fears over legalities the Trek content was removed - but you'll recognize colours of the major races

BotE-Features:
- Up to 5 (will be 6 in the final version) playable races and 142 so-called "minor" races
- Relatively large 2D galaxy map
- TCP/IP LAN and internet multiplayer and singleplayer
- AI with scalable difficulty levels
- Ship battles and invasions (no visualization yet which is in progress)
- Complete empire management like planetary build-ups and resource trading
- Diplomatic interactions like alliances, war pacts, trade agreements and bribing with all occuring species in-game
- Languages: German and English (depending on selected installation languages)

Our English forum is also on this forum here: viewforum.php?f=25, lastet version 6.1 is here http://www.botf2.star-trek-games.com/vi ... 850#p65850,
maybe these videos maybe give you a first impression http://birth-of-the-empires.de/wiki/ind ... m_Internet

Cheers for the replys lads.
Would I be right in saying that Supremacy does not have the AI installed yet?
Because unfortunately I would be just playing against the computer, so may have to pass on it until the AI is installed.
I will have to give BotE a go when I get home, thanks again for all the info and the work yee guys have done, heros.
