So, in my quest to better my skills in Photoshop I came across http://www.solarvoyager.com/tutorials.asp very nice tutorials these people have added. I would say you want to know some moderate steps in Photoshop "level 3 or 4 out of a 10 skill of difficultly". Check them out; even if you don’t want to out their tutorials their images are very nice.

I'll try to see if I can do some of the tutorials with GIMP (Photoshop is too expensive for me )
