looks great Ken though the dance off...really havn't heard back from the two female voice actresses yet, and my wife has not taken the time to try again the first attempt didn't sound "dominion" to me from that clip I saw. to what I understand it should be arrogant, condicending and fully in controll. she just talked normal the first and only take :S she use to do radio broadcasting, but if I can't get her to try again, I'll take a crack at a femine voice or see if I can find another female VO artist.

Thanks for trying Blaze. If you have the time you could record a few versions of the male Jem'Hadar voice. Gino could then put them together as the army.

Yes vjeko! Since the flag has this red color, it would only spread more shine with the fire around. It just needs a little color fade in and out, in orange, to show that there's a fire near it. See what I mean? Like "Red fades to Orange then fades back to Red again, once or a few times before the final ending. Anyway, to my point of view, there shouldn't be any more music at this point, just the flag and the fire crackling, so a few seconds more won't make a big difference. Kenneth, just a suggestion; At the end, when the final image fades out, so should any sound, at the same speed as your fade. But you do as you like, I will follow your every move.

I agree with Kenneth, Blaze. We will be able to work something as soon as you're ready. PM me when you are. Thanks! Kenneth, when you're finished with the video, send it to me and I will remix it.

Here is a more complete YouTube version of the video to play at the end of the Klingon Intro Video. This will be after the Blaze dialog. Here it is without audio. Gino is working on that part. You need the high definition version to see the fabric in the flag. I will hang on to that for now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUprzkkOGmY

Fabulous. One tiny gripe is maybe it went a bit overboard with the effects. Other than that it is pretty nice mate.

Extraordinary, Kenneth! I know just what to do with this Intro. Fire and an explosion that calms everything. Great!

Excellent, I would just change the smoke at the end. So far it's only fire and then smoke, it should be a little bit of smoke with the fire and not so much in the end, just gradual fading out.
Other than that excellent my friend.

Nice funny video. Almost like him but you forgot the "hm", "hehh", "ahh", "affirmative" "Spock" (it's a joke). Nice performance!

Nice Blaze. Are we up to date with Gino on the Klingon recording? I am working on the special effects for that part. Weapons need a lot of work on my part.

I'm not actually so thank you looking forward to it, your work is IMPRESSIVE. Let me know if you need more voices sooner then later, it seems like you have enough to keep you busy for a bit Monday I'm getting surgery on my toe (ingrown ouch!) and the next monday 04/04 i'll be leaveing to Glendale Arizona on business, I've recently been promoted and moved to a new department as a testing specialist. I will still have time to record any voices you guys need, just letting you know I'll be out of town for a bit.

Congratulation on the promotion and I hope you enjoy your trip to Glendale. I am two hours North of there in Prescott, Arizona. Good luck with the surgery. I would check with Gino to see if there is anything else he needs right now for the dialog. Work is progressing well on the Klingons.

It sounds like Gino has the dialog the way he wants it. I will send him some sound effects as well to mix in with the music and voice.
I know you understand t is more productive for both of use that I use my time working on the video. The four hours of windshield time down and back to Glendale would eat into that time. I do hope we can get some of the crew together at a Star Trek con in the future. Vjeko made the banner at the bottom of my post here and I have a copy of it as a real banner ready for our presentation. We might make another shot for the Vegas con at some point. We will see.

Do you need an animated Klingon large window for the video? I'll make it if you do. By animated I mean that the symbol starts a bit smaller and gets a bit bigger. This would last for 1.5 - 2 seconds. By large Klingon window I mean this: It was made for the purpose of being in the intro videos and the game itself(like when you declare a war, or some race is wiped out, the same thing as in the original BOTF).

Here is what I had in mind. Note that this is just a test, the quality will of course be HQ and both tempo and beginning/final size of the emblem are easily adaptable. I will do this for all races. Code: http://www.youtube.com/user/vjeko1701?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/8Ji2t7umPiI

Yes on the emblem and I think Gino will have the last say on the timing. He has to put the three videos, music, voice and sound effects together.

Beautiful vjeko! I have an idea about this bit of clip but it will make the video a little longer. How about we see the fire put out, the banner appears at the near end superimposed by vjeko's clip, I mean the banner darkens out and as this one approches, all the background is replaced by vjeko's banner, with a big drum sounding tat tat tahhhh!... I guess it would look great. It will give the video 6 or 7 seconds more but it's much worth it I believe! If it is do-able with you Kenneth, vjeko, send me the clip in PM and I will check on how to add the drums. Or it could be inserted between the fighter ships going to the planet, while they are still in space, and the fire banner part. What do you say?

I would like the Vjeko emblem to open the video. I hope there is music and even dialog to cover it. Yes, the emblem should change size more slowly. Gino said his audio program does not make clean video edits when putting clips together. In that case send your emblem video to me in .avi and I will put all that together before turning it over to Gino.

I made HQ version with slower moving emblem. It's in raw .avi format without any compression and in 1920x1080 resolution. It's 248mb large. I'll upload it somewhere and send you the link for download.

Thanks and I would like to do the same for all five major races. There is no rush. Work is moving along on the Klingons main central video clip. I have to invent a lot of the techniques for Star Trek looking special effects. Once this is in place work will go a little faster on the other races.

Of course I plan to make the equivalents for all races, it's just they will all be very big and storing them and uploading seems a waste of space since some won't be needed for months probably. Next video is for the feds right? If that's the case I'll contact VideoSpaceFX and ask him when can he start working on it. He expressed his willingness and enthusiasm to help a few weeks ago. EDIT: Good news, I just rared the file and it shrunk it to 49mb so I don't have to split it (mediafire has 200mb limit) and it will be easier to download. Please dont use mediafire i have told each of you through pm to contact jig and he will sort u a ftp account so use the private place to store files instead of mediafire etc. Keeps files local to the group that way and private.

I have been talking with VideoFX on the intro and realized that for the final sequence of three ships warping into the fed emblem (the image I made) instead of making the emblem larger and larger, it would be better if it simply faded in. Note that this will differentiate the fed intro from the kling in a way that the emblem image will be at the end of the intro opposed to the kling one where it will be at the beginning and it will be animated in a different way.
Does any of you see a problem with that? If so, we need to go back to the "drawing board" and change one of the intros and also mold the next ones in the same way.
My opinion is that not all intros need to follow the same line of sequences and this isn't a big deal.

I will go along with that.
I am more than half done now with the special effects for the destruction of the Death Star. Sorry it is taking so long. I need to remember to use the force. Especially on April 1st!
