Very nice. The prior wormholes had a jet of anti-gravitons,
tackions and that glowy white stuff coming out the center 90 degrees to the axis of the disc. It might look even better that way.  _________________ |

The sphere looks much better now. There is a bit of a black outline at the horizon.
Can you select that black by color and tone it down? Good work, very professional. The color of the top one is my favorit. I think I know that guy. _________________ |

Oh wow someone has been working hard!
 Both the images have been Sharepointed. Like Kenneth, I preferred the purplish background one so that's the one I uploaded. Edited Nexus Energy Ribbon as requested. But I could try again, what do you think? Upper one is the new version, and the lightning is not good when it's more visible.

It's definitely an improvement over the previous version. I'd prefer it if the "lightning" coming from the Nexus were a bit more visible though. I tried sharpening the image and it slightly improved the look of the lightning, but it also made the rest of the image look bad.

when you select parts of the image first, you can sharpen only that region and the rest stays the same. Works in Irfanview by simply mouse-dragging.

Yes I know that, but you can only select a box and everything within that box is sharpened. You can't for instance select just the Nexus because that isn't a rectangular shape.
