Yes, they are Kim Kardashian's people

PS I just moved to Madrid, so I might disappear for a while. Hopefully that won't take more than a few days though

Another chuckle. I just don't get all the Kim K hype.

Fight a bull in Madrid for the gang OK? Or at least have fun.

If you dance like you do in your signature image you'll really confuse the bull.

@Kenneth: It was actually the Danes that asked me to leave, as I was living in Denmark for the past 3 years. I will surely miss them (especially the tall, blonde and pretty Dane girls :twistedlaugh: )

@Cap. Bashir: I am not sure if bull fighting is part of the Federation ethos, but I will make an exception this one time :klingon:

@Happytrek: Of course I meant KimKard Assians!

Tall, blond and pretty Dane girls: No wonder you're dancing.

Hehehehe, captain_picard, too bad you aren't going to Lithuania, they have the ultimate tall, blonde and beautiful girls. I'm speaking from "first hand" experience.

I may have to visit Lithuania then to check them out. Of course, the reason would be purely scientific :twistedlaugh:

Mine was purely diplomatic...but you should definitely give it a go.

Remember one phrase:

"Tu man patinki"

It helped me a lot.

Of Course! That goes without saying hey? :twistedlaugh: Science is a high cause of progress!

Or you could say: "man tu labai patinki", after a few eyeballing! (I searched a bit) You can really learn a lot on Internet!

I'm impressed, you could possibly match my diplomatic skills.

"Tu man patinki" is the first thing Skaiste taught me, along with:

"Šešios žąsys su šešiais žąsiukais." Try pronouncing it!

Working up a explosion for the Romulan Intro.
This is a wip of that I have whipped up so far.
I am refining it as this version loads - You-Tube

Let me go back and check. I will get back to you on that.

Note the speed of sound traveling in the vacuum of space. That goes along with the ships
in banking turns like an air craft turning on wings. Media always dumbs down the space special effects for
the lower denominator. What can we do?

It will still take some time to get this packed up for Gino
to work on. We need a few extra sounds mixed in.

That is MMMagnificent Master Kenneth Of Borg!  :bigthumb:
I'll have to look for a long echoed torpedo shot and a sub low explosion rumble for the initial blast shot which will become a bit higher in tone with time and maybe a soft, kind of reversed boom (echoed) for the end part.
I'll see what I can do with the sounds I have and a mix of different effects. I might be able to use the same explosion part twice, once reversed and then the original boom glued behind it, to make it seem like a far away blast with the distance effect.
A bit technical I know but I'm just leaving this as a reminder for myself, just in case...and an explanation of what I intend to do in case someone can imagine the sound it will make.

Does anyone want to give suggestion on the animation for the CardAssian Intro?
Here are the words:

All hail Cardassia!

Methods are not important. The Obsidian Order and the Cardassian military are efficient tools. Use them to full advantage.

Exploit the worlds you conquer. Their resources bring victory.

When we are victorious, and we will be victorious, we will write history.

I could see a Terok Nor station in it. Pan in to the station and pass into the interior promenade with thousands of Cardassians walking up and down the hallway holding weapons and looking mean. Then switch to a fleet of their cruisers taking on the Federation with phaser and shield effects, photon torpedos. Just kidding (you did this to me once along time ago) :romulan: Actually I am serious about the exterior on Terok Nor. I think there are meshes available.

Good idea - We have a Terok Nor that was cut down to fit our ingame poly limits. Let us see if I can find the original HD for animation here. I did see a blender animation on YouTube that recreated the DS9 opening sequence. Let me see if I can find that again and find with the animators.

I still think the Cardassian text is a little...off. There needs to be *something* more between the first and second lines. Or "methods are not important" should come at the end of the second line, not the start.

Anyways, the first line is all hail Cardassia, so why not start off by panning the camera past the planet? There should be a nice pause in the voiceover as we show a Terok Nor like station in orbit, and have the camera move towards it, then the scene fades out and shows the interior of the station.

The next line is about the Cardassian military, so we could have a small fleet of ships in a tight formation flying past the camera - not necessarily fighting, but perhaps have all of the ships turning in synchronised manoeuvres, or all warping out together. For the Obsidian order, we could just show some random images of Cardassian structures.

The third and fourth line could then possibly show a Klingon-like planet invasion, but with lots of explosions in orbit of the planet and less resistance. To end, the Cardassian logo would then fade in in front of the planet as ships fly past the camera towards the planet.

...Hope this isn't too ambitious, Kenneth?

I've been meaning to mention that I learned from sci-fi meshes that the texture data is in the lightwave file (lwo = lightwave object) but not in an object file conversion. There is another file I have to export for that.

BlazLeeDragon will be recording the male Jem'Hadar voice (s) this weekend.
We want to have the Dominion set for when that animation is in production.
He is looking for examples of their voices. YouTube is blocked here at work
by the fun-filter. Can anyone find a links for him? I guess there must be some
episodes online now but also fun-filter blocked.
