Ooh I was wondering when we were going to see the Tholian Aurora class. Matress likes that pretty little ship. Good work Kenneth, images updated.

I will leave tomorrow early for Los Angeles and the Hollywood premiere of the new Star Trek film. I will tell JJ Abrams you all say hello. We will see if I like the new film.
My Internet connection and time for work on the game will be limited for the next week and a half.
Sorry but I will be back at it after that.

Ok, let us start this off by putting in Trashman's nice models. First we will dump the untextured Romulan Cruiser IV and put the former Battlehawk II in its place. Next we will use Trashman's "battleship" as the new R Battlehawk II. How do you like them apples?

Trashman's second Romulan model went in as the Cruiser III. The old Cruiser III will show up later with a new paint job in the minor races.

I've added the image of the Benzite Colony ship. However, the image for the K'Tarian ship is missing from Sharepoint, Kenneth. You've also listed the Tamarian ship as the Cruiser II - they don't have a Cruiser II in the shiplist though. They do have a Heavy Cruiser though, so I assume that's just a typo? Good work Kenneth, the Tamarians are going to look pretty whilst they're trying to kill us.

Thanks and I think the ships are OK now. For the Tamarians I just shorthanded the names as I, II and III in place of Light Cruiser, Cruiser and Heavy Cruiser. Tamarian Cruiser I

Ah ok, i'll update the images with the proper names and will post the images then. Any ideas what happened to the Ktarian image?

Sometime an image will take longer to load than the ones around it. Other than that I have no idea.
I have taken care of putting the new images on page one.

This finishes off the Tamarian ships, Tamarian Heavy Cruiser, same as Tamarian Cruiser III

Those three Tamarian ships looks awesome. Same kind of construction but you can see the technological upgrades within. Sometimes the other models seems a little bit to different to be from the same race.

Good point. That is something we can work on once we have a model for all the ships in the list.

Latest images added. They're beauties as always Kenneth, although now that I look back at some of the designs, i'm inclined to agree with Zulnak's point. The Andorians for example have fantastic models but they are unrelated to each other, especially with the changes in the Warp engines - pods to rings. The only race I know of that uses Warp rings is the Vulcans, and somehow I can't imagine the Andorians willingly copying Vulcan design ideologies. But anyways, as you said; these sorts of changes can wait for future revisions. Let's bring the models up to scratch before we go all feng shui and start rearranging them.

With feng shui in mind I have added the Lurian Transport and the Xanthan Transport. At this point we have 178 minor race models.

It could be. What Dominion model should we bump out to make room? It could be that the Dominion took their design ideas from the Lurians.

What about using it for the Dominion Transport III? The current model looks a bit too close to a Federation design for my liking, and the insect-like hull makes it a good model for a late-era Dominion design. By the way, the image that i'm currently using for the Dominion Construction ship doesn't have any transparencies applied. It's the only image available on Sharepoint though. Do you have a fixed version at all, Kenneth?

OK, I can swap them around as soon as I get time to redo the textures and png images.

With budget restraints and expensive special effects, especially in the earlier series, alien ships in Star Trek often got recycled. The Hekaran and Talarian ships are one example. Here is our Hekaran Cruiser that looks a lot like our Talarian Cruiser. Oh these alien races are very old and they have exchanged technology over the eons.

Thanks. If SharePoint would stop winking in and out you could see the image more often. SharePoint is where we store our data files including images. What you see here is linked in from SharePoint and that is the problem.
