A-F lol no seriously I like it clean so A (maybe C but A is better, the ground just seems to overwhelming on the other pictures so the actual refinery comes a little short there IMHO) |

A is the best! For BotE I like to use images, where the background is black. Of course you can create a ground, where the building stands, but the background should be black. |

So I want to sign up to do the Capellan's Tribal Council and Lissepian Commercial Hub and Bilanaian Soliton Lab and Antican Hunting Paddock. That should be a 270x225 png 2d image? Capellan Tribal Council

I see them on SharePoint under Shared Documents > Minor Race Special Structures and some again up in the Image Library > Minor Race Structures. Do we need them in both locations or is this unnecessary duplicating? Finally got up to speed on turning my snapshot of a 3d model into 2d image with a transparent background. (all the decompose, threshold, mask thing. Hard to figure out if you have not done it before but easy set of steps once you do - That Romulan Starbase One is up on the image library and I will work on the rest soon) |

I redid the Capellan Tribal Council with a transparent background above. Is that what we need? I will clean up the edges if it is. |

If you're having trouble applying transparencies, try using a program called Irfanview - it's completely free, can handle tons of file types, including image files, animations, videos, and music. I absolutely swear by it! Make sure you download both files though - the exe AND the plugins. The plugins allow Irfanview to handle more file types and ensure it is up-to-date. Once you have it set up properly, if you save an image as a file type that can handle transparencies, it will automatically prompt you to select which colour on the image you want to set as the transparency when you try to save the image. Great stuff.

I have completed model of Gorn Trade Alliance and Arbazan Cultural Foundation actually Arbazan structure is work of Norman Foster also I am in process of creating new Breen special structure. This structures will be uploaded soon. |

Thanks for feedback! Status: So far we have 67 minor structures completed ( 30 original botf images + 37 images produced by community) At least 25 of community produced images need new work! Everything taking in account we need approximately 132 new images for 146 minor races in game (if this number is correct). 8O
