Everone please extend a worm welcome to Siggi on joining our collective. He has offered to help with models. But the good news does not end there. I have been seeking permission for a large number of models online. While doing this I have also asked modelers to join us. Both John, (a.k.a. ModelsPlease,) and "Interstellar Machine" have said they would be willing to join our collective. John will be busy for the next three months but has said we can use his high quality ships as long as we include the readme credits. Interstellar says he does not do special request but will let us use his library of ships. Please include the credits for their ships and all other downloads we use. They both have done quality work and I look forward to them appearing here sooner or later. Mike Strobel: I have asked all of them to PM you about login for SharePoint. I hope this means we will now make the jump to warp speed for models. |

Well this is good news! Amazingly it's the first i've heard of these news guys...but what do you expect when I've barely been online in the last two weeks?!  
Congratulations guys for joining the team as modellers. We look forward to seeing the fruits of your labours. This is indeed a great day in the history of the BOTF2 project.

Here is some of what John, a.k.a. Models Please, said about models for BOTF2. "Hi again Ken, Great news is I looked over your proposed shiplists and I have Battlestations, Starbases, outposts, asteroid bases, mines, defense satellites and yards for all the major races and ships to cover everything else. Heck I even have ships to cover all the existing minor races and ones to cover any new minor races you may add as well as pirates and the Maquis. As you may or may not already know, I am co-owner of OutaLance Shipyards ...... http://outalance.battleclinic.com/ Browse through there and tell me what ya want. I also have connections with Battleclinic .... http://www.battleclinic.com/docks/dock.php As I serve as admin of the Community Docks. As well as having OutaLance members serving as Admin at SFC3 .... http://starfleetcommand3.filefront.com/ And 2 as Admin at BC files ...... http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/ And 2 of our members working on Armada II Myself (Working with Chris Jones' Team) and several others serving as Admin and working on Legacy. SO anything you need I can probably get or make for you." I will be going back through his ships looking for models we can use for the major races. Zeleni, would you look at the minor races? I do not know minors as well as you. It may be some time before John posts here. He is busy in the real world but he can tell us what we did wrong when he does show up. He will be traveling for a few months and should be back around November or December. |

he has, i think it may be an idea to move that thread to the sumpremacy forums as i will not be useing that amount of ships in my game. what do you guys think? |
