Hey guys, after playing the game for a bit I've got two suggestions for the game interface which I think would help a lot. I hope you don't mind me making a new thread for only two comments but I couldn't find an existing 'interface' thread.

Anyway, first suggestion would be to allow mouse scrolling for the game map. Either by holding the main mouse button, or holding both mouse buttons and then moving the mouse. Moving the scrollbars is a really time consuming way to get to your proper location imho.

Secondly I think it'd be a good idea to change the 'summary' button so that if the summary windows is open, and you click it again, it closes the window. I have the habit of checking the summary just before I advance a turn to see if I forgot anything. Having to click the summary, go to the close button and back to the turn button (which is right on top of the summary button) seems rather superfluous to me :)

Suggestions are something we are always looking for. If you've got an idea, don't be shy. Just post about it where you think would be best. People WILL see it.

Having to close the summary screen is something that I find annoying as well. It would be even better if you didn't actually have to close it - if you could just click the turn button and it automatically closed itslf (Or stayed onscreen and updated itself with the new turn info) it would be less frustrating for players. There's been more than a few times that i've gone to process a turn without thinking to close the summary window first.

Movement on the map is a problem purely because of the sheer size of the thing. But there is also no way that any of us are going to ask for it to be made smaller because having bigger maps has always been one of the main objectives of the whole project. You can move around the map more easily with the cursor keys on your keyboard though, so you may wish to try those.
