Looking good. If you can get the modeling done, I can probably find someone to do the compositing and some post-processing effects.

The model is online here if anyone want to work on it. It is "AA Rom Sen" at the top of the list. I can not imagine how long it took how many modeler to put together the model made for Nemesis. Actually, Romulus (where the Senate would be located anyways) is very close to a nearby sun. Therefore, it would make more sense to have the lighter image than the darker one. But then, that's just me ![Borg :borg:](./images/smilies/borg.gif)

Well, this is most definitely true... at night. The sunlight during the day would be plenty to outweigh the shadows. Unless the Romulans grew lots of trees, but I don't really think of Romulans as the type of people to go tree-hugging. Therefore, maybe the Senate could use both pics? And then in the options menu, there could be an option: "Use Romulan Senate Texture: [option Day] [option Night]. ![Borg :borg:](./images/smilies/borg.gif)

Are you planning to have the options to cede territory and systems via diplomacy?
of lesser importance would be the ability to negotiate a demiliterized zone along the borders where military ships are not permitted.

I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be in the game. We do plan to have a lot of new diplomacy options, but Mike hasn't really set out the scope of how detailed the options will be yet. We're jsut gonna have to wait and see.

Slim has returned for Spain. He hopes to have at least the Federation Espionage image ready in a week or two. The Dominion Diplomatic and Espionage should follow that. If we run out of time the black and white drawing could be stretched over 2560 x 1600 for the Vegas release. I have about 30 per cent done on the Tal Shiar headquarters Romulan Espionage image. The Romulan Senate should take about a long once I get to it. I will use vjeko's layout. ![Borg :borg:](./images/smilies/borg.gif)

The original pencil drawings of the Tal'Shiar Headquarters and the Senate are 2100 x 1425. If the rest of his drawings are around the same sort of size, the upscaling shouldn't be too much of a problem. It's good to hear that he's back. How about the option to transfer the sovereignty of a star system to another empire? This option was available in Civilisation 2 and later. Also consider that an empire would be willing to end a war if returning some of their worlds was part of a peace treaty. For example, suppose the Klingons are so stubborn that you have to conquer their homeworld in order to get their attention; once you have it, would it not be logical to believe that returning Qonos, even if it was mostly destroyed, back to Klingon sovereignty would earn a bit more respect from them?
