Excelent, it's just about perfect. There isn't really anything to do about the Cardassian ship unless one of us has modeling skill on par with the guys who do the FX for Enterprise. I know a group that does but I'm sure they won't help. I've tried fixing the bright spots on the hull of the NX but I think that is still the best picture to use I had and it seems the only way to fix it is with excessive use of the rubber stamp tool. So it's perfect as it is.
I almost forgot, give me minor credit.

I didn't just provide links, I searched my collection, hosted them, and editted the NX to be rotated to the left and have no markings. Minor recognition will do since the hardest part was removing the markings.

if i had the originals i would do all that in seconds + they where poorly cut out and i had to go over all of them to make them look half decent
Also if you had left the images untouched, i could have fixed the writting on the fed ship so it appeared the correct direction rather than simply remove it
Anyway thanks for the good comments guys im glad you like the splash
Makes a good background too

The only one I did anything to was the NX, the rest were as they were although I have the images where the Romulan ship was taken from. Here are the best originals I have. You have to "save target as..."

It's just not working, I'll try another time, for now I'll just upload indivigual images and give links on a page.
Never mind, I compressed this enough to upload it to photobucket.

I'll still post the others later on.

You didn't ask, and you have them now. I was going to make a web page but then I realised I could just link to a file.

Context Ultra Condensed and Bitstream Vera Sans Mond come close. Arrial Narrow may be closest, it just needs to be made narrower and the center legs of the E cut in half in comparison to the top and bottom ones.
All the images are uploaded now, the file can be accessed in about an hour.

There doesn't have to be individual splash screens, but it would be a nice touch.
I agree with <someone> who said that 'Birth Of The Cardassian Union' doesn't work.
It seems a bit strange that the game will be Birth Of The Federation, when you can play as other races as well.
I don't want to make any extra work for you or anyone else, but do your thing if you want to. Can't wait to see the other possible splash screens.

The other splash screens don't need to be complicated. Just a basic color that transitions in instensity from one side to the other maybe, with an appropiate title.

Exactly!
All you need is (Dark) Blue for the Feds, Red for the Klingons, Green for the Romulans, Pink/Orange for the Cardassians, and Light Blue/Purple for the Dominion.
You can leave out the Ferengi, coz people can make their own versions' if they want them in as a playable race.
(This doesn't mean that I don't like the work that you have already done though)

Hi people!, sorry its been a while, been really busy.
Anyway in the little spare time ive got, i have been practicing space art.
Its FAR from finished and it was actually last worked on about 3 weeks ago. But i thought id try and stay active and give you something to look at.
Remember its about 40% - 50% complete, and is simply to practice and perfect my techniques.

These aren't anywhere near full size.

Ooh, I like the second one best. It's got more colours!
Where can you get this program from? I only have microsoft paint, and fancy a go at making some graphical freakiness. (Only because artistic talent completely bypassed me in the grand order of things)
