In the name of all that is holy, how the heck do I colonize systems? I send my colony ships to an empty system, but I can't find the "Colonize" order when I click on it. I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious, but what? |

Hi Rotarrin, welcome to the forms! To colonize a system, you need to right-click on the ship icon in the task forces list, and a command list will appear. Colonize system is one of those options. ...If you're still having trouble though, it may be the game has glitched. Save your game, close it, then reload Supremacy. Load your game and see if it works. If it doesn't start a new game and see if it works. If it stil doesn't...you'll have to wait for Mike. With any luck though, right-clicking is all that your problem was. Welcome to the forums. |

Aha, right-click! Yep, that did the trick. (Come to think of it, I vaguely recall mention of right-click being used, but I had no idea for what.) Thank you, good sir. Much appreciated! |

Oh, i'd also suggest that you avoid using the explore command for the time being - there is a bug in the programming that really slows down turn processing time if even one ship is set to explore. Mike is working on rewriting the exploration code so you'll just have to put up with doing it manually for the time being. Glad I could help! Let us know if you get stuck with anything else. |

The other trick it took me too long to figure out in the old game was setting up trade routes. |
