Hmm...nice idea. In some respects we do plan to sort-of include something like this. But I don't know how detailed Mike plans to make it. We'll have to wait and see. But definitely a nice idea.

Hello everybody, I have a small idea about the encyclopedia. Why not to list the various types of weapons which vessels use with their photos and descriptions? |

The ingame database is currently designed to hold all game data, so this could be a nice addition. It's a bit too early to add it at the moment because we (I) haven't decided on all of the weapons yet, but the game works by you manually entering a name for the weapons a ship has, so i'm not entirely sure how this would be programmed. But it's a nice idea, at least. |

Not only the arms (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Category:Weapons) , but definition an description of the shields, warp core etc....., lifeforms encountered (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Spaceborne_species) planets,(http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Planets). A kind of wiki |

Here's an Idea I got from playing X-com. An encyclopedia which unlocks entries of other empires as the game goes on. For example, when your operatives conduct espionage, or your fleets take on a ship enough times, certain things will be unlocked. |
