I have a little comment to make about the system Angosia. The planet Angosia III has a moon named Lunar V

Maybe is better to make one thread for minor's systems, planets and moons and special structures, my advice to you starfleet is if you wish to centralise canon data about SPMSS to start from first letter in row at memory alpha and make one excel or word document about your findings. this would be excellent work cause dafedz is in process of redesign minors database. It's best to pm me cause i have few other observations.

I've added this to my to-do list, so it'll make it in. You can't name Moons but I can add in an extra tiny Barren planet and name that Lunar V.

Can you do it for Praxis, the Q'onos Klingon moon.
The Earth Moon (It is bizzare to see the Earth with 3 moons).

I thought to this kind of thing:

Yes, I *could* do this for Earth, but it WOULDN'T solve the multiple moon problem. Moons are a completely random, independent feature within the game and CANNOT be manually set, not even for Earth. So there's not really any point in doing it. Plus the large number of objects already in Sol means nothing else can be added to the system, and since it would be set as a planet, the moon itself would likely end up with its own moons!

As for Praxis, again, I *could* do it, but the game would classify it as a separate planet and not a moon - so again it would end up with its own moons. People would only just end up asking us about this.

I've already asked mike about changing the moon system and he says it cannot be changed without major reprogramming and so is out of the question.

You'll be able to configure individual planets' moons in the future, it's just been a low priority item to implement. But you'll be limited to 4 moon sizes and 4 moon shapes (16 total combinations). However, you won't be able to specify any additional data like the names of the moons. This is by design to help keep the game data from becoming too large. As the game data grows larger, the multiplayer turn processing takes longer.

Shapes as well as sizes? Well this is new info to me. You've been with-holding information Mike! :waaah:

Moon Shape = Moon Type... the idea was to have 4 different "shapes" of moons. I never got around to finding good images for these, so right now we have four different colors of moons instead of four different shapes. So yeah, moon "shapes" have been implemented for some time now.
