Interesting, the Caitians are very similar to the Lyrans from the Starfleet Command games. We could potentially use some of the Lyran ship designs as inspiration for them.

Of course, that assumes we do include them. There's a hell of a lot of minors that are already in the game or will be added soon, and it's not like Dafedz to forget a race. It's probably more a case that there's not enough info known about them or there's some other issue that prevents us using them.

There is some information in this about the CAITIANS and in this about the SAURIANS. Good idea about the Lyrans ships.

I like the Lyrans ships. They had some really unusual designs. And their ESG (Expanding Sphere Generator) weapon/shield was really useful, if a little tricky to use due to the warm up time needed before activation, not to mention a bug that caused a permanently-looping sound effect lol.
