Hello everyone, after watching the episode "Corbomite Maneuver" TOS episode, I thought you could add something about the First Federation (if it's possible). 2 proposals: 1) a random event "Encounter with the First Federation" 2) a scannable vessel in combat interface (below)

I've actually been thinking of an event involving the First Federation for some time. There are a couple of other things that I would like to have in as randoms as well, but I haven't thought of anything that does them justice. The problem with the First Federation is that combat is the most obvious choice. But then again, Kirk never fought against the Fesarius. The whole episode was about bluffs and counter-bluffs. Combat simply wouldn't do it justice. Having it as a combat event also means we will need yet another ship model, and the modellers have so many to work on that I want to avoid adding to the list. The First Federation has barely been mentioned since the Corbomite Maneuver either; we know little about them that could give us other ideas on what to base a random on, and we can't make them a minor race either for the same reason. We just don't know enough about them. So we could make it a combat event, but that has its own problems, and it doesn't really do the First Federation the justice they probably deserve. |
