Hi, I wanted to know if the obsolete ships, you can scrap to recover materials and personnel in the final version / updates.

That is my understanding. Now someone can come along and post otherwise but for now that is my story.

Personnel have been removed from the game. But yes, you will be able to scrap ships and get back a portion of their resource cost. We will have special decomissioning yards in the game that will allow you to recycle ships for resources, and the Zakdorn will have a special yard that is even more efficient at recycling ships. I'm not sure when Mike actually plans to implement the ship recycling system though.
