I'm going to take the next three weeks off to prepare for and take my final exams. I've spent so much time working on Supremacy this semester that I've been neglecting my classes. I'd rather not have to re-take any of them next semester, so I'm going to temporarily shelve this project until the semester is over on December 15. Then, after a long weekend of drinking, I'll be back at work on the game

This week I managed to get Supremacy ported over to a new architecture. The demo thus far has manipulated the game data directly, whereas the final game will have a multi-tier architecture in which the game engine runs on a server. I've got a prototype of that architecture in place now, with basic multiplayer support, so you can expect a new demo release with multiplayer support and a few other enhancements in late December or early January. That will mark the single greatest advancement in the game's development since I released the first demo.
