This dead thread seemed like a good place for me to offer thanks as well. BotE may not be finished, but aside from a 3D engine (which I understand might be part of your Alpha7 build) it's already equal and in many ways better than BotF.

Your production standards are consistently high, I think your music and (most of) your graphics are better than BotF provided, and *most of all* I appreciate that the game runs stable and almost entirely crash-free, especially in multiplayer.

Catching up on your forums, there's a lot to read. I'll probably always be a bit behind, since I rely on (slow) google translate to access most of your development chatter.

And agreed - your English is not perfect but still quite good. Much better than some of the people who live in my "English speaking" country.

yes you hit the nail quite on top.. the 3D engine is the one crucial part of the game to make it really interesting for the "eye candy" player fractions. Still, the game is even then not a fast-paced one, so it might never be really that popular that we wanted it to be but nevertheless, there are examples like Galciv2 which is quite popular so there is something we can aim for.
