Defeater sounds like a translation error. Defender sounds more correct imo. Up to you like but thought id voice the wording incase it was a possible translation mistake of sorts.

where exactly is that word showing up? with troops or ships? sure, it must be a translation glitch.

Darn i cant find it, im pretty sure one of the ships in system view well 2 ships (same class i think the scouts) said this.

Maybe they were ship names and both were named defeater or somit i duno.

there is a ship editor in ..\bote\data\ships\ folder where you can quickly view ship classes, names and descriptions, cards are the purple-colored ones. if it was the ships, then defeater should be written there somewhere. Also possible to open shiplist.data with notepad editor and use ctrl-f to find "defeater" in the text file. Third way would be to use search function in Windows, i.e. search for the term defeater in bote folder with the option "search inside files".

Edit: right, it could be a ship name, not a ship class name. Ship names are saved in a different file, I believe shipnames.data (race-specifically). I'd need to look up the file myself, but it's inside ..\bote\data\ folder respectively one of the subfolders there.
