May I first say congratulations on creating such a a well designed 4x RTS. Its been a long time for me, since BOTF, and its memory leak issues.
I have a bit of a problem, however, running windows 7 as admin and running under compatibility mode for win 98 I can not save a game or access auto save files in the initial program menu to load. IN both instances the application crashes when I either a. click save in the menu bar at the top b. crashes when I click the '...' browse button to search for the save files. I was not asked on install to direct a location for save files either which is strange as two of my housemates have installed the same game from the same file on PC's running the same operating system
.Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated,

Probably best to keep this up as a note to others form the BOTF thought process of 'it's a pile of ****, best run babbage compatability mode'.
