Don't worry Crazyhawk, we've had plans to implement these for a long time. Mike simply hasn't got round to doing it - yet - amongst all the millions of other things he has to do on the game. These buttons will be added as soon as Mike is ready to add them.
By the way, we're NOT going to have a BOTF-style instant-build button as you suggested. We're going yo instead have a button that simply speeds up the consstruction time by 10% or so. We've discussed this on the forums for about four years now, and the general concensus was that people want it this way.
