crash caused by error.txt came upon my screen. I was trying to add a new race to the fedration when this error occured. this error has been the major one that i have had so far.

What i found that works is to reload after the crash it bypasses the problem and will allow you to play.

Ok i have Looked at the error logs of almost every other person and it seems that the error is not in the spelling but in the programs. Check sum it reads the info and decides that this error was caused by and outside source and crashes the program. The check sum in not in the program but rather a part of the computer and runs in XP and Vista. Also a rudamentary A.I. On a game this complex will cause nothing but problems.

So.....is there any way to actually FIX this problem? Like (on Vista) running it (the game) in a different compatability mode? I'm a little confused. I love this game so far, but this error is starting to get more than a little annoying. :borg:

Sorry there has not been more progress on this issue. Work on the code is slow in coming at this point as mstrobel has been busy earning a living. We hope it will not be too much longer but can not say when.
