I Have launched Supremacy once before, It asked to perform updates, I allowed this. Then it restarted. I no longer starts up it gets past the splash but thats it. I get an unhandled exception and the error.txt file reads: Could not load file or assembly 'AvalonLibrary, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b5d01516e28df45f' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. Hi mountainfish, welcome to the forums! I know the solution to your problem, but it unfortunately means you will need to redownload the game all over again. Delete your existing Supremacy files, all of them, then download the game into a brand new folder. (To ensure there is no risk of old, potentially corrupt files mixing with the fresh download) Next, download This File and place it into your main Supremacy folder; let it overwrite your existing HttpDownloader.dll file. Once you've done that, load up the game and allow it to perform an update. Most people find the game works again after they have done this. If it doesn't though, please let us know and we'll see if we can come up with any other ideas. I posted this fix in the "Known Issues With The Current Supremacy Release" thread here in the Supremacy Bugs forum. If you have any other problems in future, check that thread out as you might find a fix for your problem has already been posted. |
