Hi everyone! As I updated the game and restarted it, I had this bug (see attached file). I guess that someone else had this and I already downloaded the loop fix and installed it but this one seems different. It's been a while since I opened the game the last time, so it could be related to that. I hope I'm not repeating an old bug. If so, sorry guys! Happytrek

FMOD error? I'm no expert on the error messages, but I *think* that has something to do with the audio. That suggests a few possibilities to me.
1: Have you made any changes to the audio files? The Music folder should have four tracks in it - "Building the Dream v2r.ogg", "Portal Mastery v2.ogg", "Starlight Requiem v2r.ogg", AND "Trek-Opening.mp3", plus a CREDITS.txt file. The game throws fits if any required files are missing.
2: Have you made any changes to the MusicPacks.xml file? This is in the Data folder. If you've made changes to the audio files, you may need to also update this file.
Mike will probably know for sure though.

No. Since I first installed it, I didn't change anything in the audio. The only thing I did was install the fix for the httpDownloader.dll (updater) and reset the files as explained in the debugging topic. I did also reset the updater because I had that loop problem. And looking at the audio files, I still have the four files. 3 in Ogg and one in mp3 plus the credit txt file.

I'm out of ideas then. I was probably wrong about it being an audio problem anyway. I'll forward this to Mike.

Looks like it's not a problem that happens every time I update. Sometimes, it acts normally; about once out of four updates. Could it be that I do not let enough time for the game to start before closing it back? I guess it must take a certain time for the game to update before I can close it down. I let it open in the intro screen for about 15 seconds then I shut it when I don't have time to play. Happytrek
