Hey guys thought we could chat about sto here, who's with me?

Oh and i found a character builder based on the beta version of the game which shouldn't be diff character levelling wise from the full game. Go Here

I don't get what the point of this builder thing is. Anyways, i'd put everything into starship improvement. I'm not fussed on the ground parts of the game, it's starship combat that I love.

What sorts of weapons did people use in the game? I managed to acquire some dual Disruptor cannons and a Quantum torpedo before the beta ended. I really liked the Disruptor weapons. Phasers have a fast fire rate but are just so low damage.

But I haven't had internet access since Thursday. Didn't take computer home with me and sister has been away and took her laptop with her. And anyways, her lappy is too low powered to run the game. :gripe:

I'll be back in my flat in a few hours, i'll see you online then Skeet.

I don't need more time to play STO, I need any time to play. Unfortunately, after the beta ran out, I didn't have the money for the lifetime. Oh well. I will try to work hard on Random Event Descriptions instead and try to ignore all of the fun you guys... are... *wince*.... having....................... or I could just have a meltdown like this :P: :waaah: :brickwall: :gripe: :censored: :censored:..... ok, I feel better now ... back to work... :borg:

more info on the game.

We have a model for the Domesday machine
but not a guardian of forever as far as I know.
That could be a mission I guess.

That is awsome. I wish I could play it, but unfortunately I have only 10Gb of available internet traffic per month and I'm not really financially in a good position

DAMN YOU ALL!

OK, fine, I'm buying this game. (minutes pass...) There, I just bought it on Steam. But I'm only allowing myself to play in the evenings after work. Weekends are reserved for working on Supremacy.

Post subject:  Re: Star Trek: Online discussion

There were queues on the last day of the beta test, and at the worst point I was something like 713 of 800 - I got a message exactly like yours, Mike. It took about 30 mins to log in at that time. But that was when they first tested the queuing system. I haven't encountered a single queue since the game started proper.

There's a thread on the STO forums about the queues how some people (Like me and skeet) aren't encountering them and others are stuck waiting for ages. Some people also seem to think there's a workaround for the queues. I don't know if it's true or not, but:

ox-Bullseye on the STO forums wrote:
The 'workaround' is to hit 'cancel login attempt' and get back to the login screen. I entered my PW and hti login, which brought me to a queue again, I canceled a second time and at the login screen my PW was still there, hit log in again and I went straight into the game.
