sadly no, proof of domestic violance is no longer required, for the somewhat obivous reasons, far to many times it has been ignored which has lead to tragic deaths. you now need to seek a judical review of visitation rights, to begin with they will more than likely be monitered, but it is at least a start. you also need to make sure you send no threating e-mails or texts as they will be used in evidence. all contact with your x should be as polite as humanly possible, thus giving her no extra grounds for something like a retraining order, which i would imagine will be her next course of action.

character statements are always good, it shows how people in the community think of you, the more you can gather the better, you need people to say they would not believe you capable of violance of any sort not just towards a woman, so lose any swastikas you may have in your house anything which may link you to any sort of aggresion will be used against you in court, and if her lawyers are any good, they will find out when you last wiped your ass, you need to show an image of a rightous immpecable member of the community. your position needs to be unassailable, it needs to be, i am good, i`ve always been good, and hell i always will be.

Yep Jig has got it right. My Ex tried to pull that on me. It did not work though.
Looks like both countrys follow about the same rules on that. You might check there, but in U.S. (where I am) You can file a motion with a judge which will force her to show total proof or the case will be dismissed.
Here Police reports must be filed and things like that. If there is nothing logged by the local police, then it is a case of He said/ She said. Sadly most times the judges take the side of the Woman. Most of all be truthful in everything you say! The Judge can smell crap a mile away.
Jig had mentioned a church, hopefully you have been going there a while as that looks better overall then if you suddenly just start going.
Co-workers also help a bunch as well as other married couples with children whom would vouge for you as a kind and decent person.
The more you have the less creditable she is.
Thats about all I know, except for when my ex pulled that she ended up in lockup for 2 days for pergury (sp?) and contempt of court (swearing at the judge) plus a hefty cash fine.

Well from my experiences the whole divorce situation is totally corrupt in the uk. Men never get justice anymore.
Because divorces are all behind closed doors its open to abuse.
So when it comes to it expect the unexpected and never underestimate the old boys club, especially with most judges and solicitors being in the masons.
My dad had incontrovertible proof of dozens of lies my mother threw at him during the divorce (as in signed documents by her proving she had lied) and the judge dismissed all of them as irrelevant.
So if u do this do it big, leave no stone unturned push the judge into a corner where he only has the option to agree with you.

I don't really know much about divorce legal mumbo jumbo, but if you listen to the guys, you should be fine Gavin.
Try to plan for every eventuality - imagine what 'evidence' she may come up with against you, and think of ways to disprove her evidence/refute her claims. Hearsay technically shouldn't be allowed in court, but it can help build up a profile of a person (Just like character witnesses can) A judge may take such evidence into consideration when making the final decision - if they believe it is relevant, so make sure any dirt you can dig up on her is good.
If you can think of any character witnesses that may go against you, try to sweeten them up a bit (Obviously this one will require caution coz it could backfire in court) 8O
Neighbours can be good witnesses, since they may have noticed any arguments you may have had with her recently. They may have even noticed patterns in your arguments (Ie. she started them) or they may simply think of you as a 'better parent'.
When you are in court, her lawyers will probably try to make you look incompetent, or try to confuse you so you end up damaging your own defense. Just keep calm and do some homework, and you'll be fine.
Remember, we'll be right behind you.
(It's a shame that my operatives can't help you, but of course, they can't interfere with the laws and justice system of another society )

Knowledge is power. To be unknown, is to be unconquerable.
Gavin is God of programming and all things electronic. To him, knowledge is power and unconquerability.
My loyalty is (And always shall be) to the Star Empire, which is why I have taken this personal great risk. By helping god, I will have furthered our electronic existance!
Besides, you can't go wrong with a God on your side.
