When they jumped forward in time they could have said that Malcolm Reed died that would make it even better

Reed is cool! Gotta love his attitude about blowing things up.

Tucker: "Why is it you fancy being shot upon so much, Malcolm?"
Reed: "I don't, sir. But I do fancy the shooting back part!"

Just brilliant! :D

Changing a we bit here. Ive not had a chance to read all teh posts since im at uni but I heard they were making a new trek film with an all new cast set ten years after First Contact. That was off Aint It Cool ah couple of months ago so im not sure if I can find the link....

...ok so i just epnt 10 minutes looking and no luck.

I personlly loved DS9. It is my favourite serias without a doubt. And I also have to agree that First Contact was the best film from the TNG crew.

Good rant. Your views are exactly the same as mine, very good read. I've always thought Trek needs to grow up.

what are the odds that Trek WILL actually grow up though?

the director for trek XI has just been announced. it seem that berman is somehow going to keep his job as head honcho of the franchise - at least in the short term anyway - and that this thing is actually going to go ahead...

seriously... wtf?

It'll either be great or a death sentence to Trek
