You mean the Saucer section, right Adm_Willie?
The Stardrive/main hull section is generally whatever section has the Nacelles attached to it. This section tends to have main engineering, the main crew quarters and essential systems.
The Saucer section is the round/elliptical/triangular section that is usually found at the front of the ship. This tends to contain the Bridge, main weapons, science labs, and so on.
...
I've commented on what I think of the winning design of the Titan in two other threads already, but basically, I think it looks like an Intrepid that has been stretched out and had a pod added to it.
It is ugly, and not fitting of a ship Captained by Riker.

Ummm dont think anyone sai the Miranda was ugly. A POS ship thats nothing more than cannon fodder, yes. But ugly...
Yes the winning design for the Titan is quite ugly. Nothing original. The word kitbash comes to my mind.
All of the other titan designs I've seen (Jaroks from the begining of this thread, the model that jig and adm_willie both put links to, and also the pic Trashman posted in another thread) have been much beter looking. I personally think Jarok's or the one created by jigs friend should have been the ones that mae it. Too bad they were both sent in late. If they were on time we could have had a better looking ship ....

Yeah, I'm not so sure I like the winning design, either, but then I'm biased!
Seriously, though, I think that the winning ship fits the criteria really well, she shouldn't be terribly original looking considering the background they gave us. I also think she'll look better from non-orthographic angles. Straight on, not too pretty, but from an angle, she might look alright!
We'll just have to wait until 2007 to see what they do with her!
Glad you guys like we rejects, though! Moral support is great!

Gah, that design looks like a cross between a Sovereign and a Miranda, but uglier...I personally liked Jarok's design.
