in a nutshell, german fan-based star trek news site being threathened to get sued by fedcon-dvd-production-company laywer for a compensation worth 58.000 € (roughly 75.000 bucks) due to alledged misuse of film material for a news report on the german fedcon in bonn (kenneth reported on that here). my personal opinion on that matter is keeping eyes open for anyone who might see a chance in getting some money out of fan-based projects with certain claims I won't comment on...  |

As far as I care the big guys are just bullies. If it was up to me copyright would be scrapped and there would be NO restrictions on the internet, music, films, ANYTHING.
