Its my new fav sci fi nerd out. I really hope D9 gets a sequel, or even a mini-series, prob not a TV show, but more like a short episodic run

They left it open for another but doubt they should bother tbh, and we didnt need to spoon feeding from mr Jackson we get that its a metaphore for apartheid...

I saw District 9 a week or two ago. It was pretty good, and totally wasn't what I expected. The special effects were stunning because they were generally so low-key that when something really happened you were totally blown away by it. But at the same time virtually every scene had a special effect of some kind in it because all the aliens were cg. It takes some doing to make cg unnoticeable, and I don't mean that in a bad way.

Can't wait for the sequel.

I here there is a green light on the sequel. It is not a mater of if they should do it but rather if it will make money.
