our first demo based off the game Arena has been released

This sounds cool. The screenshots remind me of Star Trek 25th anniversary but with better graphics.

Tried the demo. It's very cool. I've always liked Adventure games, every since my sister bought me Broken Sword I and II for Christmas about five years ago. Also, I love seeing TOS era games and Arena is one of my favorite episodes of the series.

We have been sitting on pens and needles lol.

We have had over 100 downloads in the last 48 hours which Is great but your the first to give any kind of feedback.

Judgement rights and 25th anniversary was the inspiration for the project and they remain most trek fans favorite games of the official game series.
so its nice to have achieved what we set out for there.

This is the first game I have ever done never even wrote a line of code before this so I was a bit nervous but I think I did a pretty ok first game.
of course had great team for music and graphics to help me.

We have 3 more acts to do to finish this game which are already being scripted out now.

with every movie to game conversion things have to be added to make it a fun and playable game but how do you feel we did in still capturing the intent and feel of the episode and trek in general?

now that we have learned a lot we are upping the anti a bit when we finaly get to the gorn battle scene we are planning to make a lot more multiple paths and choices you could make and that level you could play multiple times and have things be different each time.

Devil in the dark will be our next game and then we will allow players to vote for the next one after that.

I love the idea of this series because it allows us to learn so much as far as game creation.

Arena was my frist choice as a starting game as it had all the elements of an adventure game

devil in the dark will feature a large maze of caverns and such to explore in the classic maze adventure format.

I believe with how each of these episodes were so different there is possibilitys to make each of them very different from each other
and entertaining.

I didn't have much time yesterday so I only got to the locked doors of the Armory. But it's great and I can't wait for the next episode.



For the next episode maybe "Errand of Mercy" or "City on the Edge of Forever".
I had only few problems with different cursors (the "legs" one) but nothing too much. It's very detailed and simply great if you love adventure games.

Oh, c'mon, I've just finished act I and am sitting on needles now, I need act II. Is it a space fight with the Gorn ship?

We are planning act 2 to be a space fight with sulu in command for the battle trying to beat the gorn ship off and beam the away team back home.

Act 3 will involve chasing the Gorn ship and having to keep up with it

while Act 4 will be the battleworld portion with the gorn captain

Devil in the dark will probably be next as we have it drafted out already in concept layout

im hoping city on the edge of forever will be voted top from players as its one i want to do really bad
