I have to admit, I do really like the design of the Eagle. God I loved watching Space 1999 when I was a kid. It was always on straight after I got back from school. Although even back then, I questioned *why* they wanted to get back to Earth when the loss of the moon would've wiped out life on Earth anyways.

Damn that website. I was reading the description of the Orion that talks about how it still flies into space, and I was like "WTF, why am I just now learning about this awesome spaceplane?!" And then I realized it was all fiction.

It is not fiction. I saw it fly in space in the movie.
They did change the name of the airline that uses it though. Pan Am went under back in the day. _________________ |
