Well, it might go dark any day now Anyway, I made an annotated version of that photo (rotated by 180 degrees) ![Image](http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/3153/060411orbit1large.jpg) I also like the fact that we can see the curvature of the Earth. However, part of that (30% maybe more) might also be lens distortions. EDIT: I have just checked with Google Earth, by going at an altitude of 350km, where the ISS is, and rotating the viewpoint properly, that the amount of curvature you see from that height is indeed the one seen from the photo. Therefore, it is not lens distortions. ![Vulcan :vulcan:](./images/smilies/vulcan.gif)

Ah Thessaloniki, I have bad memories of it, the game Dinamo Zagreb - PAOK... I lost a lot of nerves on that game.

I sure hope you do keep those lights on. Here in Arizona, USA we are looking at a 7% increase in electric rates. Luckily I put in solar panels a few months back. Now my electric bills are 12 to 16 dollars a month. ![Borg :borg:](./images/smilies/borg.gif)

My favorite football club is the one from my hometown, PAS Giannena: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAS_GiannenaWe were in the 2nd division, but this year we finished 2nd and we ascended to the 1st division were the other big teams like Panathinaikos, PAOK, Olympiakos etc play. We have a lot of history (at a local level) but no titles ![Red Face ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif) Also, as you can see in the wikipedia page (see section Rivalries) we have strong feelings against the major teams (mainly Panathinaikos) since they didn't always play fair ![Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

I dislike PAOK because they play very closed and ugly football. On the other hand AIK, Olympiakos and Panathinaikos play good european football. But that is expected from the strongest teams to walk over weaker, in European games Dinamo Zagreb, my team, is often "stolen" by referees, but hey, we are not as powerful as Villarreal, Ajax, or some other... although we play excellent and attractive football and are often victorious against richer and stronger teams. EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNK_Dinamo_ZagrebThe founding date is wrong here, officially Dinamo is a successor to Građanski who was founded in 1911.

There is a poll at the Guardian regarding the best goal of the season in EU championships: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog ... eason-pollOne of the candidates is from my team (PAS GIANNINA), see the fifth entry above. Also, you can see the goal here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0Gxxem5ELUIf you like it, please vote!
