Are you going to buy it? I have been burned enough by the issuing and re-issuing of favorite videos that I will probably wait till I start seeing this stuff on sale. I'm watching for the remastered original series to drop in price at this time. Movies too.

I will definitely buy the remastered TNG series, but I'm not going to buy the sample disc, as it's a rip off...
Spoiler: show
I might get the sample disc from other unofficial channels though :twistedlaugh:

According to TrekMovie.com:
Quote:
All seven seasons of TNG on Blu-ray [will be ready] by 2015
That's three years away damn it :gripe:

Surprisingly, the page title is full of typos: "CBS: All 7 Seaons Of Star Trek: TNG On Blu-ray By 2015 + ‘Consdering’ Other Series + Watch S1 Trailer"

More details at:

StarTrek.com has posted a new interview with Ken Ross, executive vice president and general manager of CBS Home Entertainment and here is an excerpt.

What, if any additional extras will be on the full first-season TNG Blu-ray set?

Ross: There will be a nice complement of extras and some really cool stuff, so stay tuned!

When will it be out?

Ross: Late summer or early fall 2012.

What’s the game plan in terms of releasing seasons 2-7 of TNG?

Ross: We’re aiming to release two seasons per year.

Everyone is asking about DS9, Voyager and Enterprise. Enterprise was shot on HD, but how about DS9 and Voyager? What are the plans for those two shows?

Ross: Our focus right now is on TNG, but we will certainly consider all of the other Star Trek series.
