Star Trek The Next Generation star Patrick Stewart told U.K. talk show host Graham Norton last week, "I have just done seven years of theater and it's been the best seven years of my life. We filmed two of the stage productions I was in and I so enjoyed being in front of a camera again.
"I felt it would be a good time to see if I could kick-start a film career. I never really had a film career, I had a franchise career, so I've made a decision to take 18 months off and see what happens."

Be nice but saw a recent interview and he isnt aging well which isnt surprising as he is rather old now and looks good for old but its catching up to him.
Wonder what type of roles he would do. Maybe come in on the new trek film as a camo like say picards grandfather on the ship and he walks by or somit lol.
Hmm hope he maybe does something sci fi but not a low budget thing or owt.

He is of course saying he would like to do a dramatic role. All the best for Sir Stewart.

You must be getting old if you cannot remember your interviews.

A new interview about Sir Stewart. The part I liked the most was about how he is still active even though he is 70+ (emphasis mine): Quote: Stewart is still living young, dating a woman in her thirties, and trying new physical activities one wouldn’t normally associate with a man in his seventies. I guess the last part about the "physical activities one wouldn’t normally at his 70s" is referring to dating a 30 year old Go Captain!!!!!

Have you seen that movie trailer for the film (can't remember the name) where a bunch of Florida retirees go to India. There is this one line where, one of the female leads says to this guy, "having sex at your age is dangerous" and he answers with a straight face as he turns and walks off, "if she dies, she dies."

Captain Bashir wrote: "if she dies, she dies." Funny, but it's probably the other way around By the way, I totally forgot to add the link to the interview: http://www.trektoday.com/content/2012/0 ... nty-to-do/
