Following this morning's debut of the first trailer for Syfy's two-hour "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome," Deadline is reporting that, while the network will still air the pilot as a special, Syfy has elected not to go forward with the show as an ongoing televised series. They may, however, return to the notion of developing "Blood & Chrome" as it was originally conceived: as a webseries. Syfy president Mark Stern issued the following statement:
“We are actively pursuing it as was originally intended: a groundbreaking digital series that will launch to audiences beyond the scope of a television screen. The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date. Our enthusiasm for this ambitious project has not waned.”

yeah, waiting on the final tomorrow! the start was great, looking forward to whether they reconsider making a new series based on it later. As they went back to web-series and syfy movie plan, they eventually consider it again I read.
