There's no point really in a game this moddable.

I mean, if you want a real challenge you could beef up the other empire's ships so they're harder to beat etc. On the other hand you could mod in stronger weapons on your own vessels, or cheaper building, less maintenence, etc etc

well there are things like triggering a borg invasion or something? Or a supernova? Could be funny.. But anyway, gametesters have to report when the beta is finshed any bugs that can be identified as cheats to Gturfrey. Atleast that is what he said some time ago.
