Mentat is right, dyslexia is actually quite common, so there's no reason to feel embarassed about it. Most people don't bother to spell-check their posts anyway! I know i don't!

You guys can guess who my favourite race is, but i'm not gonna say for security reasons.

If I had to choose a minor race though, i'd say the Gorn, especially the Enterprise-style Gorn.

They are a far too under-valued race in Star Trek - much like the Romulans really...

Favorite minor race would have to be a tie between Tholians and Andorians.

While I'm at it, favorite non-canon ST race would have to be the Neyel Hegemony. Their backstory just kicks so much ass.

I think it's cool that the aliens are largely human like. It makes them easier to identify by their expressions and inflections and allows the actors to give them a defined character. It would be way more realistic to have something like Alien or to a lesser extent Predator, but more difficult to do good interpersonal scenes. I must admit, it pisses me off that El Aurians, Betazoids and Ba'Ku look so much like us, imagine if a Klingon walked by and someone said "that's a Tergalian", we'd be like WTF?!
