I'll send a pm! I don't think the admins like this forum to become a German one.

I take it you mean that you are not realy proud that you live in Germany, Iwulff... It'd beter be!
Anyway, this realy got to be the single topic that spans 3 pages over night! What an effect women tend to have on our masses or male posters Welcome to the forum Rebecca.

Page three before I start posting on a thread?! 8O
Shoot me now!
Welcome to the forums, Rebecca! Don't be frightened by my name, it involves friends and computer games - not something sinister as people pointed out to me a few weeks ago!
I actually know quite a lot of Rebeccas...there are FIVE of them on my uni course! 8O
One of my best friends is Rebecca, and my sister knows a Rebecca as well!
If I start calling you Rebecca 8, I think you can guess why...
Anyways, welcome to the forums, i'm glad you decided to come out of the woodwork - we know there are plenty of other non-posters lurking out there!
But there's no need to worry, there haven't been any <Recorded> cases of new posters having their head bit off...

Hi Matress! I only have one question to you. Do you, as an old Romulan as it seems, really believe that it is a coincidence that there are all those Rebeccas around? 8O
Nah seriously you have to pm me some time how that nickname of yours came to be. I bet it'll be an interesting story!
And Gavin: you are a ladies man? My, my I think I really have to keep an eye on you then, huh? By the way, I like your signature... What church do you go to?
Oh, and one last sentence to all the German understanders: Ich hoffe dass wir ab und zu mal miteinander reden können! Wird bestimmt lustig... Und iwulff: ich habe vorher schon mal geschrieben, dass es immer gut ist stolz darauf zu sein wo man herkommt und wer man ist! Also: GO Dutch and GO Germany.

Excuse me if I intrude, but why wouldn't you be proud? If you don't want to answer I can understand because I realise this is a rather personal question...

Yeehaawwww! That's right! Watch out! And don't be too confused about the German zahadoom. On peut aussi parler un peu de Francais, mon ami! I just love languages (must be 'cos I'm a woman and have an inclination to talk a LOT ).
Oh, and to the mods: I do realise that this foreign language thing is becoming a little prominent right now, so I'll try to keep it at a minimum.

That's rude ftranschel. I just didn't want to embarrass Gavin... At least he went through the trouble of doing all that google translation stuff.
But from your reply I take it you are German, right? Or at least you know German...
Hello Valcoren and Thom! Nice to be here, guys.

Hello there Carott! I think it is definately a stereotype. I think it is pretty sad if people pick their partners according to their pasttimes! I mean I once a boyfriend who collected stamps and those little paper things were holy to him! But hey, ya know, he was a nice guy (a real cutie ) and so why would I care what his hobby is. Valcoren: Way to go!! That's what I call a solid realtionship. But don't you DARE saying anything against day time soaps. LOL
Gavin you definately are a charmer, my liege. LOL

Yes, it's rude. The first reason is that this forum doesn't need a german speaking "elite"[1], so I'll avoide speaking or answering german.
The second is we should not try to communicate in a form each other does not clearly understand. I could speak russian if I use google-translation, but do you think I could decide wether the message I want to speak is the same when translated. Well, I can't and gavin obviously could not do with german either. Thus we should speak english as everyone seems to know it.
It's my deep conviction that everybody should be able to access and understand a posting in this _public_ society.
[1] It's a common socialization effect that poeple preferring to speak their mother tongue in an open and international community tend to form a *CLOSED* minority against the majority using a multilateral form of communication thus I really want to avoid such an effect as there is a reasonable number of people who's mother tongue is _not_ english.
If you like to talk german, do it in your PMs. I'd be happy to speak german to you in private. Und ich verspreche auch, weniger aggressiv zu sein
