What's really really really sad is that I can tell from the body language and position that your head is attached to Picard's body right before he shouts "Fire at will" and the quantums hit the Scimitar.
I have watched that battle way too much.

if i really wanted to prove how much of a startrek geek i was, i would mention that i have a t-shirt with the image of the Data card on the front, which i got by winning a startrek customizable card game tournament.

Hmm...a trek nerd thread you mean?
Wait...isn't that the whole point of the General Chat threads? Or haven't we at least proved we're all are with the Jeopardy thread?
...
Silvercliff, I like your avatar. The colouring is really nice. Where did you get it from?
I inverted the colours of different Romulan designs to make mine.

Matress_of_evil: i found a site (cant remember which one) which had some images of a whole bunch of cultural symbols, inc romulan. i think you have prob been there looking at your avatar. anyway, i reversed the image also, painted the now white shadow black, the did a bit of fiddling with colour to make the green and blue.

This is the site where I got all mine from, Silvercliff:
http://www.st-minutiae.com/academy/anthropology114A/index.xhtml
If you edited your pic Silvercliff, then we likely started off with the same one! What a coincedence...great Romulans think alike...
...
I didn't mean to insult you, Jade, I was just saying what I thought!
Sorry about that, rock chick.

After seeing that pic I feel compelled to try a Trek related chat up line on you... "Have you ever seen the wormhole... open?"
Kudos to whoever get's which ep that's from.

If you get that I'll be gobsmacked, it's from DS9.
