I just reinstalled my OS, so i havnt had time to hack my OS yet, and I havnt been able to get all my visual stuff online.
but here it is anyway:

You have no idea how difficult it was to copy my desktop! i have one of these 'save space' keyboards that came with my computer and couldn't find print screen!

Here's mine:
My Desktop Trust me when I say that Stumpy knows that my desktop has had a cleanup in that picture! 
I prefer to keep stuff on my desktop for quick access. I HATE having to go through folders and things to find my stuff. The picture is one that I got from Scifi-Meshes - before the crash. yeah, my desktop is most of the time filled up, and at 1600x1200, i get a good 300 (15 vertical, 25 horizontal) icons in there

i like to keep my desktop clean too, but i dont.

i normally have green winXP skin, with a 1240*1024 or 1600*1200 res, and a real mesh of stuff all over the screen. Currently working on laptop on work, so can't show it. But it's nothing to be proud of...
