Favorites i have are: Holland Argentinia Italy Spain Tjechie England really did play ****, and won't make it far. Germany will go down in 1/4 finale or something, because they just play bad. Brazil will make it in the half finale, but not further. French can;t accomplish anything the past years. They have to much players that want to be THE MAN. But it's possible that Holland or Argentinia won't make it, and that s&m or the elephants come up with some suprises. You know what would be awesome Holland beating Germany XD . Somehow it wouldnt suprise me if Holland would go down early but it wouldn;t suprise me either when they win the WC. |

France is equal to ouch time. That really was bad. THey should dump all the oldies, yes including Zidane, his days are over. But there is one bright point, they scored a goal. Finally after 8? years a WC goal for France, but still a draw. I though the Italy-USA match was very nice to watch, because the game became more intresting after there were only 19 players on the field of whom 1 was injured from italy who barely could touch the ball. Ofcourse the things that happened weren't nice Holland didnt show a very good match yet, perhaps they will against Argentinia. It's for the 1st and 2th place, that means either portugal or mexico? (both seem to weak to stop these two) will play against them in next phase. I was dissapointed in the 2-0 loss of tjechie. It shows us that African teams are become stronger and better each WC. I also saw the way how Crouch scored, a bit distasteful to actually need to do that to win a match. T&T should have been a draw. Also TrekBoy this is the WC where you have to win. Now England has been in a easy pool and played bad, Argentinia is in a hard pool and played superb. If they would face eachother now i would think that England would lose. But as said that England would play better against stronger teams, i will be looking forward to a strong England side and to see a great match. I would like to see Autralia to win or draw against Croatie, and that they win a match in the next phase. I don't like a underdog to actually win the worldcup |

Holland won't win next game against Argentinia, they replacing the players who have a yellow card, so some good player will be replaced |

Talking of Greece, remember South Korea in 2002? Though both teams had the luck of a few dubious refereeing decisions. When will they introduce video replays for refs to use? Then we'd finally know if Goeff Hurst's shot crossed the line |
