Hmm...according to GAME it's out on the same day as Zelda: Twilight Princess...my god i'm gonna be happy that day... My computer meets those specs, but i'm not sure about my graphics card and haven't got a clue how to check. All I know is that i've got two 128mb ATI Radeon 9250's... |

Bearing in mind MOE, your pc uses only one for actual graphics afaik, the other's just for extra monitors. Umm, i'm pretty sure the 9250 is DirectX 8.1 only and it wouldn't be powerful enough to play it. Memory isn't everything as i've found out to my cost Hope this helps! If you're an AGP guy like 95% of the people in the world then your best value/performance bet is the nVIDIA 7600GS/GT 256MB Palit 7600GS http://scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo. ... tID=479171 £84.30 with delivery There are 512MB 7600GSs avalible but if you go and spend more then you're better going with the 7600GT, atleast 50% more performance i've found at higher resolutions and settings 256MB Leadtek 7600GT http://scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo. ... tID=462642 £136.00 with delivery |

I'm not sure if my Radeon Mobility 9700 will cut it. It's only 128 mb, but assuming it meets the technical video requirements, my 2gb of system RAM will hand the rest, if not as gracefully. To boot, it's a laptop. 2.8ghz P4. I might have to uninstall some things. 5gb free space is pretty killer. On a related note, Tactical Assualt for the PSP got pushed back to November 14th due to two minor bugs. By minor, I mean really minor. If they made production, hardly anyone would have noticed. One of them was causing the system to reboot if you popped the disc and then exited the program. According to one of the devs, that only had a 1/2 second window of opportunity. The DS version is out today, though. I'm sad about the PSP thing considering that's what I have My girlfriend actually went to gamestop today to pick it up too |

tsk tsk tsk... you guys with your 'out of the box' configuration. lame... -- overclocking is the way to go. Even for video cards. I even built custom heatsinks for my video cards and RAM. They were pretty easy to make too. My Athalon XP 2700+ with 512 DDR out speeds brand new computers clocking in with dual core at 3.4ghz, and 1gb of RAM. feel my awesomeness. Oh yes, and I even timed it. I user PI calculation to figure out the speed. -- If anyone had Live, and Legacy, youre going down. |

very nice if you want my system stats, I can go into it. I feel like I will. Athalon XP 2700+ - overclocked -> $50 512 DDR - overclocked -> $0 Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 - overclocked -> $0 D-Link Xtreme G g520 Wireless card - dying on me , going to perform CPR on it any day now -> $0 Antec Lanboy Case (8lbs) - modded -> $0 ATI Tv Tuner -> $8 DVD-Rom Drive -> $10 Other random hacks/mods/random crap that I have: - Homemade copper heatsinks on specific mobo chips and memory, also videocard. - Two external power connections, converted to small plugs - Used for my external homemade lighting made from cold cathodes. - Two modded subwoofers. - 6 hacked (or being hacked) JuiceBoxes (failed child's video player) - I got a bunch off Overstock for $4 each, and im converting them to picture frames. - Homemade monitor switch (To control two computers with one monitor) - 2 Airsoft Spring Pistols (I increased the power) - 1 Hacked/Modded Airsoft electric pistol (I upped the power 6x and made it fully automatic. It went through 14 rounds in less than a second. Then the batteries exploded. Then i fixed it, and it worked just as well, just 4x instead of 6x. Then someone put furniture on it and it broke in to tiny pieces.) - 1 Airsoft Spring Rifle (in the process of super charging) - 1 CD-Rom drive cup holder (with automatic retrival!) I'm working on a CD-Rom drive cup holder, which looks like a normal CD drive. WHen you press the eject button, out pops a cup holder. It uses extra supports to keep the massive weight of my energy drinks from spilling. and then theres the piles upon piles of junk that I have laying around, which happens to be mostly half completed projects. and yet my monitor, keyboard, and mouse all come from the mid 90s... |

Eh, there's not much you can do to laptops, which is my primary system. Dell Inspiron 9100. Essentially, it's an XPS wannabe from three years ago, which is when I bought it. It's faster than most computers spec-wise, but lacks the effenciency. But I can still run things like WoW at 30 FPS with decent settings. Since getting this one, I love having a laptop as a main system. I tend to wander to friends houses a lot and wind up playing games. Easiest LAN setup EVER. Seriously... while people are dragging their towers from their cars (let alone the monitor, speakers, keyboard/mice, etc), I'm already set up with a pretty powerful setup that has a widescreen LCD monitor with about equivelent power (well, not so much anymore). Pure win. I keep a wireless optical mouse in the laptop bag, although I have played games with the touchpad, heh. The system originally came with 512 DDR RAM, but I replaced the two 256 sticks with 1gb sticks. It's really the only upgrade I can do easily short of rebuilding/replacing the entire laptop. I have that same Vista build on DVD, but I have no system to put it on. Yay MSDN subscriptions. |

DX10 Nemitor? But where did you get your hands on a card that is capable of utilizing it? jk man. How's Vista Build 5744 feel? I'm thinking my computer will be able to run Legacy pretty well. Stats are in the sig Just checked the stats of the 9250 MOE, it has the pixel shader you need (1.4) I think you may be able to run it. Azhdeen, the 9700 should be able to run it no problem, it has shader 2.0 and 128 bit memory |

Nem you will find it hard to play latest games with just 512mb ddr ram. bf2 for instance needs 2gb to be smooth. Alot of games this past year needs 1gb to be smooth on highest details. -- My specs which considering i dont work is pretty impressive i'd say. AMD 64 3500+ stock. (Tho have a arctic 64 pro cooler if i need to oc later) 2GB GEIL DDR (2.5,3,3,8 Timings @1T dual channel) ASUS V9999GE (6800 256MB (equiv to a 6800gt almost) Audigy 2 zs 19inch Hansol 930D monitor (really screwy with geometry when changing res tho so probably not the best monitor) Maxtor 30gb Maxtor DM10 200gb dvdrw liteon 1783s No game really runs slow except nwn2 (bad coding) and oblivion (demanding on any system really) |

Mmmmmm, it's so choclatey and yummy.... it's too bad there's no more...." That will be me in about a week on these forums. Either that or it'll be, "Guys, the game sucks. Don't get it." Heh. |

but if your just going to be playing BOTF2, then 512 is good enough. I used 256 for years, and only 12 months ago did I upgrade to 512. 512 DDR is enough for any normal computer user. If you upgrade, you wont notice much difference other than maybe faster boot up time. |

C2D E6300 @ 2.8ghz 7x400 (1.8 stock) X1900xt 256 1gb DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 1:1 with CPU I run the game 1600x1200 max quality with 4xAA and I get about 15 - 50 fps during battle. I find the game to be clunky and difficult to control. Little to no options to play with. I'm disappointed in the battle controls... Voice over sounds lame. This game could have been much better. |
