WE all have seen the movies like Frankenstein Vs Dracula, Jason Vs Freddie, ect.
I am thinking of a whole new one. This would be a one time movie that Paramount can make 10 sequels to.
First we will start with a cross between the Borg and Klingons . Klorg.
Next we have them battle a cross of Romulan and Borg. Borgulan.
Thus we have the following;
Klorg Vs. Borgulan: Let the Assimilation Begin!
Your TASK; Write a 2 to 4 paragraph summary for a teaser to get people interested in seeing this new movie.
{ the reason for a 4 paragraph limit is so people like "MOE" and "AZH" do not fill this with 10 pages worth of information LOL}
I look forward to reading the posts .
Winter...
[ Edit] Feel free to make it as funny or as serious as you so choose.

lol, your teaser is full of plot holes Matress. Let me fix it up a bit:
Borgulans uncloak.
The Klorg, still cloaked themselves, annihilate the seemingly foolish Borgulans.
And there you have it, I would definately see this movie.

I'd take both of your movies, and then add the mysterious Borq which holds a trial accusing both the Borgulans and the Klorgs for crimes against intelligence. They are found guilty, and the Borq decide to de-evolve them in some convoluted way, which actually causes the chief leaders of both the Borgulans and Klorgs to make decisions that causes the de-evolution itself across multiple time streams. But they end up working together to interrupt the disruption, thus saving their respective races.
The Borq observe this and become mad. They snap their fingers and both the Borgulans and Klorg explode. The end.
By the way, how come the Borg never cloak? I mean... I'm POSITIVE they've assimilated those darned things by now.

Aren't those Cubes like 27 cubic KILOMETERS in size? Imagine the power requirements of cloaking something like that. I guess if anyone could do it, it would be the Borg. Maybe Q is keeping them from getting the tech so the Borg don't just pwn everything.

right. I mean, even Q said "DONT INSTIGATE THE BORG!!!"
if I was Q, i would just snap my fingers, and blow the borg into oblivion.

Very good point... I had not thought about him. Why does he Fear the Borg. Remember he kept calling himself Omnipotent... lol

Maybe the Borg are very close to becoming the Perfect race? Although they are scattered and probably pretty badly damaged after Endgame. Or maybe Q just respects the Borg's power. Or could it be that Q even created the Borg to keep order in the galaxy, to keep one race from being far more powerful than the others. Just my thoughts.

I started writing a post all about a fanfic that i've been reading by a guy called AlbertG on fanfiction.com. I started to explain about how it tied into the question about Q, but my post eventually turned into an uber review of his uber fanfic!
Anyways, the fanfic is by a guy called Albert G and it's spread over several "books". It would probably be better if you read it yourself rather than spend several hours reading a post by me that spoils the entire thing.
These are the books, although i'm not 100% sure as to the order in which they should be read! There have been so many re-writes and changes tht even i'm not sure thjat i've read them all!
Book One
Book Two
Book Three
Book Four
Book Five
I've contacted the writer and asked him if he could tell me what the correct order is. I'll update this post if necessary when he replies.

nigh omnipotent....
But it seems Mr. Q has some special interest in humanity and alpha quadrant in general.
If the Borg were to launch a large-scale invasion of hte alpha quadrant, I immagine he wouldn't want his favorite pastime (Picard) gone.
I cna allready picture him poppin up and saying something like:
"You foolish mortals desperately need my help. Well here you monkeys, take this: "
*poof - spawns a future warship*
EDIT: I must confess that I don't like Voyager (apart from the ship that is).
and I HATE the endgame. Janeway is shown to be the WORST commander possible, weakminded and a fool(changing the timeline becouse she couldn't handle the death of a few of her special crewmembers - immagine what would happen if every ST captain was doing that!!?!?)
And wasn't there that timeship that kept fixing history whenever someone messes with hte timeline? Wouldn't they have stopped Janeway or reverse the efect later?

Eh, not to be a downer but I'm positive the "reasoning" for that was to bring closure to Voyager. I mean, how pissed would you have been if the series ended and they were only half-way home? Considering all of the different tricks they used to speed up the journey, I'm sure the idea bucket was running a bit empty.
"We need to find a way to end the series. We should probably end it by getting them home."
"Earth, more specifically."
"Ok, how do we do that?"
"Well, we've used a ton of different ideas."
"Right. We'll need a new one."
"Hey, Voyager has yet to enlist the help of a time-traveller!"
"That's a great idea! But how would the crew react to some random dude showing up?"
"Hmm, that's true...."
"..."
"..."
"Oh... no...."
"..."
"Well, the only way the crew would follow is if it was someone they knew."
"Ok, well, who do they know and who can we get to act it?"
"Well we could use a friend or family member of the crew."
"Yes, but how would they convince Voyager to take advice from a time-traveller?"
"Well, there'd have to be some sort of problem that would get solved by doing what is suggested."
"Ok, who would know of a problem or two that would get taken cared of? Also, who would be able to convince the crew, or specifically Janeway, to impliment the advice?"
"..."
"..."
"Well... Janeway herself would probably know of any unforunate events needing reversing. Would she listen to herself?"
"Hey, that's a great idea! Janeway would know herself well enough to trust herself. Plus, she'd have all the knowledge required to get the crew home and avoid unforunate accidents! Let's do it!"

I understand that Azh, but it stil ldoesn't make hte ending any better or more meaningfull in the ST universe.
I'm no purist nor an avid Trekkie - but I like my stories to have cohesion - that why I mostly disliked DS9, hated VOY and abandoned ENT after a season.

Now see i'm the total opposite. I though DS9 was a great show, Voyager is the best of the Treks, and Enterprise is the most under-rated show there is.
Ok, Voyager could've been a LOT more than it was - what happened to the Federation/Marquis tensions after episode 1 and 2? How did they repair damage so quickly and perfectly? Why didn't they integrate alien technology into the ship more frequently? - But it was a show about family, just like TNG was. It was a show that was full of modern questions of humanity, The Doctor and Seven being the equivalent of Data - and you can't deny that the fighting episodes - especially the Borg ones - are some of the best in Trek. These problems are most down to the lack of guts by the network, NOT by writers.
Deep Space Nine had a terrible ending and got into a bit of a rut around the middle, but it started and almost ended with one hell of a bang. Again, this is mostly because of the networks, although the writers were a bit more to blame this time round.
And whilst Enterprise started off badly, it got better - a LOT better. But by this time so many fans had given up on it - including yourself, Trashman - that it was never able to fill in the gaps in the Trek timeline that it so obviously could have.
What about the Romulan War? What was the creation of Starfleet like? Did the races still have any differences?
It's thanks to the lack of faith shown by so many of the fans that the series died such an untimely death. It wasn't the writers that killed the show, it was the fans, pure and simple.

Have to disagree with you there Matress,
Ent, from the get go was, to be polite lame. Plots, charaters, even the ship was, for lack of a better term, just thrown together in a pot and sent out as a tv show. Not that the actors were bad, just the storyline, ect. WE as fans could have written a much better show.
So what if I have been a fan since the late 60's. A pureist I'm not. I can see a hundred different ways to write what I feel would have been excellent shows. But then my perception would not match what others would think a great show is.
My thought is still "Listen to the Fans" [Not all of course due to some being total nut jobs} but there is enough out there to really give them a feel for a outstanding story line. I would like to see a newer show kinda like the Org. in that is would be a cowboys and Indians in space deal. You know the land and shoot em up type! make it FUN again!
Example.. BORG WAR!. Animated yes, but wow! what an excellent story line with movement and plenty of excitement to boot!
This post has given me an idea. I will try to write the Whole story from different points of view. Feds, Roms, Cards, Klings. As they are the more interesting ones of the Trek lifespan. Not to say I would not place the Ferengi in also for they would be there. bring them from humble beginings to say where the first trek started. I may not ever be able to get it right, but I do not mind trying.
This may seem cruel, but Paramount writers cannot touch what Roddenberry did... Not when you only focus on the $$$
but thats my opinion.... and I'm aware it means nothing! lol

I've never seen so many inconsistencies nad plot holes in a single show. No to mention how tehy seemed to borrow every good idea from previous ST shows, even half of hte charachters are allmost complete clones. And mind you - this is not something that is subjective. Plot holes can be counted, charachters analyized. VOY had some good battles and some good episodes but it mostly sucked big time. ENT was good for a while, but they ruined that rather fast.. especialyl with that temporal cold war. Coming to you live from the beautiful, Grand Risa casino/and dabo girl Hotel. The most waited for match of the last 4 centuries' Klorg vs. Borgulan!. Both are tuff as nails, but in the end only one can win! Let the Battle Royal Begin! Lets go down to the hotel floor and get into the action:
* Announcer*
Both sides are alainged in their perspective corners. Theres the bell, and these heavyweights of the Alpha/Delta Quadrant walk in slow methodical circles, never dropping their lazer eyes off the other! Whats this? Seems Klorg has just made a move and WOW what a blow to Borgulan!! He took a major disruptor blast to his left side that really spun him around. Now in a counter move, Borgulan drops to the canvas and .... Rolls! Yes ladies and gentleman he rolls to his right, then with a swift motion fired his disruptor and just catches Klorg across his left shoulder. Klorg stumbles backward into the ropes, he's looking a bit dazed to be sure but wait? whats this? Borgulan stood and ran right at Klorg and he jumps feet first , but Whoa! Klorg must have spotted this move coming a lightyear away as he sidesteps and BAM! Borgulan just connected with the post in a place No one wants to be injured!
I don't care what Universe your from Ladies and Gentleman, Thats gotta hurt!
Ohhh MY Klorg ads insult to injury has he sends a stunning backfist blow right into borgulans midsection before he could pull himself off the posts. That really did a number on Borgulan as he is now off the post and attempting to stand. With Borgulans head lowered, Klorg moves in to deliver a possable knockout blow, but the impossable has just happened!! OH MY, Borgulan must have eyes in the back of his head cause he just grabbed Klorg by the legs and then slammed him right into the mat! Both Klorg and Borgulan are looking stunned as they are moving slowly, trying to get up.
Ladies and Gentleman you will not believe this but another man has just entered the ring and now he is blasting both Klorg and Borgulan with two disrupters! This unknown has leaned over Klorgs unmoving body and is doing something. Can't see from this angle, but what? whats this? Hes pulled out Klorgs hive memory chip!
OHHHH MYYYY What a stunning Loss for Klorg Fans!! I don't believe it! I mean this is so unreal ladies and gentleman! Where are the officials to stop this? No one is going in to put a stop to this, I am totally amased at what I am seeing ladies and Gent, whats this??? This strange has now moved over to Borgulan and OH MY he just removed Borgulans hive chip as well. Oh the Humanity of it all. The crowd here is just going wild and still no one is even attempting to get into the ring.
Now the Stranger has stood back up and the sold out croud has slienced as they stare at this stranger. An- Wait? An Official has climbed into the ring and seems to be talking to this stranger. He's moving closer to him... I cannot believe what I am seeing here. The Official is taking his arm, I think he's putting him into custody, Noooooooo He is raising this strangers arm as if he won the match... I'm going to confirm what I am seeing here tonight.. and ..... and ..... yes it is official, this stranger IS being declaired the Winner! The croud is stunned, but are quick to gain some composure and are now cheering! Yes! you heard it here, They are cheering! The announcer is back in the ring, lets listen in....*
** Ladies and Gentleman! Yourrrrrrrr Winnerrrrrrrrrrr of tonights match by
complete distruction isssss Klindassulorg!!!! **
* And this sold out stadium is cheering so loud it is hard for me to even hear if I am going over the communacations systems*
*To all my fan out there this is Synodine systems model "I'll be back" 2100 saying so long from the Grand Risa Casino/and Dabo Girl Hotel! Goonight*
*S* [ and this is my longest post I have even done! ]

Can anyone tell me if there is a method to repair ships and space stations on botf 1? I hate having the feeling that they only way to deal with damaged vessels is to scrap them and build new ones.

Leave them alone and out of combat for a few turns. They heal themselves.

You guys have to admit though, DS9 did have a lot of combat in it. Especially in the last half of the series. I do agree that the last episode was a disappointment, but you gotta look at the rest of the series. The thing I liked a lot, is that DS9 left very few wholes in the stroyline as it went. The fact that a lot of later episodes refered to earlier ones was great. It almost would give someone the feeling that they do indeed need to watch the episodes in order, otherwise they might have missed something. Granted, they don't really travel to far given the fact that they are stuck on the space staion, but you gotta admit they still made things very interesting and entertaining on DS9. If you ask me, DS9 was the best series by far.
