Now, I dont do this normally, but I'm asking you all for your opinion for something NOT botf2 related.. Two weeks ago, I was talking with my friend, and I challenged him to a "modeling duel". We each had two weeks to create the best three dimensional phone. There were few rules, Basically the only one was that we had to make all models ourselves. Now, the reason im posting this is that we both agreed to get judges. I chose my judges to be the guys at BOTF2, and he chose MySpace. We both agreed not to tell anyone whose is whose until the judging has ended. So that means I'm not telling you which one is mine. Had to have a go myself and i did this in a bath towel as i got out the bath when i started. :p So after some hours like 3 i think. And alot of poly manipulation and fine tuning of the mesh (i hate curves) i got a pre alpha view of my mobile phone model. 
Very unfinished i know but meh. Btw my fingers are stiff cos of doing this.

tsk skeeter, tsk. private contest (yours looks good though) - we may make it widespread later (we already challenged eachother again). We dont use templates/blueprints either, all done freestyle. I want to show you all the real final image that I just rendered... its so much better then my 'official' image. |
