Open your start menu, go to run and put in "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" (without the apostrophes) and you get a rather nifty ASCII code version of Star Wars Episode IV! ..... Found this on some website and it works! Can some one explain how though! This goes beyond my computer knowledge |

Telnet connects to a remote host, so what you're seeing is not a part of Windows... only the Telnet client is. |

There are quite a few out there. But that doesn't make it any less impressive Strangely, Windows Vista doesn't seem to include a telnet client. Probably because it's an insecure protocol. |

my version still has hyperterminal, which I believe does have Telnet support. |
