rofl... I just replied to that post in KennethGF's Romulan Outpost thread. I noticed that a lot of the screenshots are quite different than the ones in the game. Makes you wonder what features were planned that didn't make it.

Well there`s the UI practically done if we can get him. He did it all in the original BOTF.

This would be a major find. Hope it can be pulled off. I am guessing the game status would allow for use of the old images that had belonged to Microprose without other issues?

We would have to take stock of what new images already made for this project would be replaced and what would still be left to build. It does not bother me as I am still learning. I hope once I am ready for the real deal we have a better idea of what still needs to be done.

We're pretty well covered with UI Graphics, it's images of all the buildings and ships that will be a problem.

hm jig, since this guy virtually made all buildings we're using in our new (and of course also the old star trek) content, would it be feasible if you asked him for any reservations he might have against that? plus if he knows if he possesses copyright on his work or if he had to give it to the company he was working on back then, i.e. can't dispose of his own work (but then he wouldn't be able to show his work off the net shouldn't he ). I would be very relieved if finally the creator of all these nice pics can be found (well as it is obviously) and agrees with us using it non-commercially! And be sure to get him a copy of our game if he wants to have a look at it once released .
