there are several playable alphas out now from supremacy and birth of the empires (gavin's alleged work gone vapor..
).
though the brand-new alpha3-release of BotE is not yet in the downloads section here. That one is still the old alpha2. We're trying to get the installation process of bote a little more comfortable with an installer
.
In the meantime go to the BotE screens and plans forum here on the site and check for the alpha3 version download thread. There are the links for the latest zip files.
