OPPS

I recognize this music on SharePoint as being the Klingon theme from Star Trek the Movie.
(this is not one of the ericjames original tunes)

The first listing called, "Klingon Long Music_Unknown Author," at

http://www.botf2.com/Shared%20Documents ... 44987A3%7d

We have it on SharePoint and I love it dearly. It is, however, something of a red flag if we are serious about no copyright original tunes royalty squeaky clean.

This would look like a Ferengi busness deal next to using Holst's The Planets Suite.

BTY: The orchestra that recorded this version of The Planets Suite http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Planets just wants you to give them credit for it if you do use the recording. (Down the page at this link is another listing of the individual section of the suite in ogg file type.) I favor the original tunes we have from maestro ericjames. This Holst is too overused and well known for the sound I think we should have. Beside that Holts was English.

Ok this copy rights thing really seems confused to me, you either have none or not worry at it at all. Considering its based on star trek and contain canon races that are copy righted anyway, by for example redoing the vulcon emblem doesn't necessarily make everything else kosher.

Seems a llot of good stuff put to waste because of copy right when in fact, all projects have crossed that line already.

Just a thought

I love the music. It is the demigod devs that make the call.
